Throughout his career, he has focused on providing accounting and tax services to individuals, closely held businesses, estates, and trusts. Mark is known for his depth of technical knowledge and his ability to help clients reduce their tax burdens, plan for retirement, and structure their estates effectively. As an advisor to closely held businesses, he has long been committed to helping owners understand the financial implications of their decisions, select appropriate entity structures, and build stability and confidence in their tax and business planning. Mark’s experience spans numerous industries—including construction, manufacturing, professional services, telecommunications, and oil and gas—where he has advised clients on business purchases and sales, ownership transitions, buy–sell agreements, and related tax considerations. His practical insight and clear communication have made him a trusted resource to business owners navigating complex planning decisions. After working with Chad Bailey for several years to transition his client engagements, Mark stepped into a semi-retired role in 2025. While he has reduced his day-to-day responsibilities, he remains available to clients and the team as he gradually moves toward full retirement. Mark earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance, Cum Laude, from the University of Colorado. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants. Outside of work, Mark enjoys golfing, biking, and traveling. |
