Mark is the founding partner of The Allen Group, PC, establishing the firm in 2007 with a vision to create a client-focused environment where experienced CPAs work directly with the individuals and businesses they serve. Drawing on decades of experience in public accounting, Mark built the firm around trusted advisory relationships, high-quality service, and a deep understanding of closely held businesses and taxation.

Under Mark’s leadership, The Allen Group, PC, grew into a respected provider of tax and advisory services. His commitment to personalized service and practical, strategic guidance set the foundation for the firm’s culture and long-term success.

After serving as Managing Principal for many years, Mark moved to a semi-retired role in 2023, having spent considerable time mentoring Taylor Stevens to assume the leadership of the firm and ensure a smooth, thoughtful transition. While no longer responsible for the day-to-day management of the firm, he continues to support client relationships and provide mentorship as needed, offering the insight and perspective gained throughout his distinguished career.

A Colorado native, Mark earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Northern Colorado. Outside of his professional work, he enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and fishing.
