Originally from small town Stuart, Florida, Katie moved to Colorado during the summer of 2022 to enjoy the weather, mountains, and all great things outdoors. Prior to joining The Allen Group in June of 2023, she worked in the private sector for nearly five years, gaining experience in accounting for industries in the medical field and non-profits. Her interest in tax sparked while working at a small firm in Tampa - preparing numerous individual tax returns and gaining an invaluable foundation in tax. Katie obtained her Bachelors of Science in Accounting from the University of South Florida. She is currently working on her CPA license and will continuously advance her skills while working at the firm. During her free time, Katie enjoys hot yoga, skiing, and spending time with her friends and family. |
